At Socialifyx™, operated by SCMT S.A. (hereinafter, "the Company"), data privacy and security is our top priority. This policy describes how we manage your information with industrial-grade security standards.

1. Information We Collect and Protect

Social Network Tokens: OAuth credentials for connected accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X / Twitter). These tokens are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM and are never accessible from the frontend.

Clarification on Passwords: Socialifyx™ never requests, accesses or stores the personal passwords of users' accounts. The connection is made exclusively through official external authorization protocols.

Token Security: Tokens are stored in Firestore with strict security rules, allowing access only by our server-side Cloud Functions to execute authorized publications.

Billing Data: Payments and payment data for the different contracted plans are managed securely through FastSpring, processed entirely by them and not stored by Socialifyx™.

2. Personal Data Protection and Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of personal data is based on:

  • The user's consent
  • The execution of a contract
  • The legitimate interest of the Company (security, service improvement and fraud prevention)

In accordance with the applicable personal data protection regulations in your place of residence or jurisdiction (GDPR / Ley 25.326).

3. Rights of Data Subjects

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, object, restrict and request the portability of your personal data. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to privacy@socialifyx.com. You may also file a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.

4. Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Content Processing

OpenAI: GPT-4o, OpenAI Image Generation V3 and Sora / Sora Pro engines.

Google: Gemini 1.5 Pro, Imagen 3 and Veo engines.

Additional Providers: Anthropic (Claude), Perplexity, Meta AI (Llama) and xAI (Grok).

5. Recipients and International Data Transfers

If data is transferred outside the country of origin, we apply Standard Contractual Clauses and the strictest international safeguards regarding personal data protection and information confidentiality in accordance with the applicable regulations (GDPR / Ley 25.326) in your place of residence or jurisdiction.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Retention: Data is retained while the account remains active.

Deletion on Request: Upon termination of the contractual relationship or at the customer's request, data is deleted within a maximum of 30 business days, except for legal obligations requiring their retention.

7. Limitation of Liability for Force Majeure

Socialifyx™ shall not be liable for the inability to access or loss of data arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: third-party provider failures, power outages, natural disasters, labor disputes, cyberattacks or interruptions in global infrastructure services.

8. Processing of Minors' Data

Socialifyx™ is not directed at minors. We do not intentionally collect personal data of minors; if data of persons under 18 years of age is detected, it will be immediately deleted from our records.

9. Security Incident and Breach Notification

In the event of a security breach affecting personal data, the Company will notify the affected customer and, if applicable, the competent supervisory authority within legal deadlines, detailing the measures adopted.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to ensure the operation of the website, improve user experience and analyze platform usage.

Cookies may be:

  • Technical (necessary): essential for service operation
  • Analytics: allow measuring and improving platform usage
  • Functional: remember user preferences
  • Third-party: associated with integrated external services

The use of non-essential cookies is subject to the user's prior consent, which may be managed through the cookie banner or browser settings.

The user may accept, reject or configure the use of cookies at any time. Disabling certain cookies may affect service operation.

11. Misuse of the Service

The user is solely responsible for the content generated and published. Use for unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent or rights-infringing purposes is prohibited. The Company reserves the right to suspend access upon detecting misuse.

12. Technical Data, Logs and Platform Usage

We may collect technical information such as IP addresses, access logs, device type, browser, operating system, usage events and interaction metrics, in order to ensure system security, detect and prevent fraud, improve user experience and optimize platform performance.

13. Communication and Transfer of Data to Third Parties

Data may be shared with technology providers exclusively for the proper provision of the service, including cloud infrastructure, content processing, analytics and billing, under agreements that guarantee confidentiality, security and regulatory compliance.

14. Information Security

Socialifyx™ implements adequate technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access control, incident monitoring and secure cloud infrastructure.

15. Use of Artificial Intelligence

The service may generate content through artificial intelligence systems. Such content may require human validation and the user is responsible for its review before use or publication.

17. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

For any dispute arising from the interpretation, validity or execution of this Privacy Policy, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the ordinary courts located in the Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentine Republic, expressly waiving any other forum or jurisdiction that may apply.

Notwithstanding the above, users may exercise the rights that correspond to them under the applicable personal data protection regulations in their place of residence or jurisdiction (GDPR / Ley 25.326).

18. International Data Transfer

To provide the service, Socialifyx™ uses infrastructure from leading global providers such as Google Cloud (Firebase) and Vercel. By using the platform, the user consents to their information being processed on servers located outside their country of residence (primarily in the U.S. and the EU). These transfers are made under strict security frameworks and standard contractual clauses that guarantee a level of protection equivalent to that required by the GDPR and Ley 25.326.

19. Third-party integrations

Socialifyx integrates with third-party platforms (Meta — Facebook and Instagram, and TikTok) to enable automated publishing on your behalf. When you connect an external account to Socialifyx, the platform in question shares the data listed below.

Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

  • Your Meta ID and name (displayed in the UI to indicate the account is connected).
  • The list of Facebook Pages you administer and their access tokens.
  • Data about your linked Instagram Business account, if any.

We use that information solely to:

  • Publish content that you have approved within Socialifyx to your Page and/or Instagram.
  • Display the status of your posts.

TikTok

  • Your public ID (open_id) and TikTok username (displayed in the UI to indicate the account is connected).
  • Your avatar, used only for display within Socialifyx.
  • Access and refresh tokens that allow publishing videos or carousels on your behalf.

We use that information solely to:

  • Publish videos and carousels that you have approved within Socialifyx to your TikTok account.
  • Display the status of those posts.

We do not share this data with other providers, we do not use it to train AI models, and we never publish on your behalf without your explicit approval inside the app. You may disconnect your Meta or TikTok account at any time from /dashboard/accounts, which revokes the tokens and removes the associated data.
